My story
A quick introduction to the facts & figures of my life: My name is Annemay Hogeling, I'm born & raised in the Netherlands but I've been travelling & working, and therefore living my life, partly abroad. I know no hunger greater than the hunger for adventure, the thrive to discover this amazing planet with all its crazy surprises and secrets.

Furthermore, I am a student at Saxion University, studying tourism management. This decission is based on my desire to be clueless on where the future takes me, yet having the possibility to take it anywhere. I see opportunities and adventure wherever I go. I am curious to see where the road takes me, but at the same time I am shaping my own path already.
Why this blog?
I always like to refer to myself as the adventurous, optimistic, poethic, open mindend traveller. I longue for adventure in my life which I find in my travels, to me a culture shock is a new valuable experience and a challenging adventure, but most of all: a unique gift.

I am a bit of a dreamer, my mind is open to anything and I often catch myself drifting away from reality which you will find in my stories as well. But as my main value is sustainability, this is what it's all about: my desire to preserve all the beauty I see and my ways of contributing to the local culture of a place, to preserve its true DNA.
