My story

A quick introduction to the facts & figures of my life: My name is Annemay Hogeling, I'm born & raised in the Netherlands but I've been travelling & working, and therefore living my life, partly abroad. I am grateful for life and each moment of it, embracing nothing but the present. This made travelling an experience so immersive and engaging I can only share what good it brings to life. The thrive to discover this amazing planet with all its crazy surprises and secrets is restless and the rewards of education, joy and grattitude are ever lasting. On this page I will offer you a fresh perspective on life & travelling in a more poetic, conscious way that also gives back to the people and places shaping its beauty.

ABOUT US

I always like to refer to myself as the adventurous, optimistic, poethic, open mindend person who wants to spread kindness. Travelling has brought me the tools to do so and continues to be my source of motivation. It has shown me the beauty of the people and the planet and provided me with a burning desire to continue spreading awareness for the good that travelling could do for the world. I truly believe that travelling helps people see the good in the world and bring out the best in people, if performed correctly. I do not claim to know how to have the cheapest travel or the most adventurous trip, but I do know how to make every moment feel special whilst even contributing to your self-growth and to the area offering you this experience. I am a bit of a dreamer, my mind is open to anything and I often catch myself drifting away from reality which you will find in my stories as well. But as my main value is sustainability, this is what it's all about: my desire to preserve all the beauty I see and my ways of contributing to the local culture of a place, to preserve its true DNA.
